Descrizione

Our new log cabin is intimate and quiet. We sit on a ridge at 9400 ft watching the sun set over the Continental Divide. Only 1 hour from Denver's numerous cultural attractions, Vail,and Rocky Mountain National Park. There are lots of activities from museums to fishing, horseback riding to white water rafting. Be as active as you like or use our very private place to commune with nature.
The cabin has a modern kitchen, shower, two bedrooms and a large loft great for groups-especially kids. This is our second home so exchange dates are open.

Quartiere

Our cabin is seven miles up the "Oh My God Road," an old stage road from historic Idaho Springs. The closest town is
a ghost town- Russel Gulch. It sits on the site of an old goldmine in what was the heart of the Colorado Gold Rush. Yet you can go to the world famous Central City Opera five miles away.
Hike and mountain bike from the house or horseback ride just
down the road. Sit by the campfire and see more stars than you
ever saw before.

Chi siamo

My wife and I are designers. She has a design/communication comany and I am an architectural color consultant. We love music, reading, food and wine, and love to travel around the state or around the world. We also love to share our beautiful state with others. We would be delighted to help you avail yourself of all the activities nearby. We would love to go to Italy but are more than open explore most any other options.

Destinazione

We have no set time or location to travel. We are up for most anything if it is convenient. We could go in winter if it is in the southern hemisphere or tropics.
