Our cosy farm cottage 'Eithin Bach', part of a converted barn, (usually rented out as a holiday cottage) is attached to the main farmhouse of Cefn Eithin on a small holding in the hamlet of Bethesda Bach, 10 minutes drive of Snowdonia National Park, 4 miles from the Royal Historical Town of Caernarfon, 1 mile from Glynllifon Country Park and 3 miles form the award winning Blue Flag beach of Dinas Dinlle. It is surrounded by wonderful panoramic views of the sea towards Anglesey and mountains of Snowdonia National Park. It is also very centrally located and within easy reach of all the major tourist attractions and villages and towns of North Wales, e.g. The Lleyn peninsular is 10 minutes drive away, Beddgelert (25 minutes), Porthmadog (20 minutes), Pwllheli (20 minutes), Abersoch (30 minutes), Beaumaris on Anglesey (30 minutes).
The cottage is ideal for a family of 4 with two adults and two children for full weeks and short breaks. It has a double bedroom and a bunkbed bedroom. It is all on the ground floor and therefore with no stairs it is ideal for young children and people with difficulties with stairs! The cottage has all brand new facilities including a brand new fully equipped kitchen and a fantastic bathroom with walk in shower. Quartiere

The cottage is located on a small holding on farm land with welsh sheep grazing in the fields. It is surrounded by panoramic views of the sea and mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. There is a cycle tracj within 6 minutes of walking down the lane and we have bikes that you are more than welcome to borrow plus a toddler trailer for little ones.Glynllifon Country Park is within 1 mile, a fantastic park full of footpaths through the wood. Also Dinas Dinlle beach is within 3 miles and is the perfect beach for families of all ages, where parking is free and plenty of it. A car is essential however there are buses into Caernarfon available from the main road, 5 minutes from the house.

Chi siamo

We have now been letting our Cottage Eithin Bach. The main house where we live is in the process of being made up so is not yet ready for house swaps but may be in the future. We are a Welsh and English speaking family with two boys, one 7 year old and one one year old. I work as a teacher and my partner is a builder. We are looking for breaks within the Uk this year during the school holidays.
