Descrizione

Spacious period first floor flat with high ceilings and original parquet wooden floors. 1 master bedroom with double bed, 1 double sofa bed in study, 1 nursery with cot bed and 1 cot, which can be replaced by inflatable double mattress/single bed.

Modern kitchen with eating space, microwave, 2 ovens, Nespresso machine, water filter, juicer, electric kettle, dish washer and washing machine.

One bathroom with bathtub and a separate extra toilet.

The large hallway is also used as a dining room, and the table fits 8 people.

There is a total of four original fireplaces in the flat; the ones in the living room and dining room/hallway can be used for burning logs and coal; there and two non-working fireplaces in the master bedroom and the nursery.

The flat also boasts a large comfortable sofa, Sky + with hundreds of tv channels including film channels, wireless internet, an electric piano and central heating. One highchair and one chair for young children is available.

The flat has a total of 120 square meters.

Quartiere

Located quietly but centrally by Richmond Bridge in East Twickenham outside London; minutes from Richmond town and its fantastic shops, pubs, restaurants, farmers market, theatre and cinema; lovely walks by the river Thames; the massive Richmond Park with hundreds of roaming deer, perfect for cycling through; close to the world famous Kew Botanical Gardens; walking distance to Ham house and Petersham nurseries (with a Michelin star restaurant); rowing boats and cycles for rent, and much more. Close to Twickenham stadium with rugby games and concerts.

Bus stop around the corner and two bus stops or 10 minutes walk to Richmond train station, which has a fast train to Waterloo station (17 mins) and the District Line (30 mins to Knightsbridge and Harrods). Heathrow is the closest airport, reached in approx. 30 mins by car.

Chi siamo

We are a young professional couple with two sons born 2007 and 2009.

We work in media and medicine. Our sons are half Czech, half Scottish, live in London and speak Swedish as a first language!

We could not imagine living in any other area in Great London - Richmond has everything you need: a fantastic selection of restaurants, cafes, shops, entertainment including wonderful parks and nature.

Destinazione

We spend every summer in Sweden so we would be interested to stay in a nice house, ideally close to the sea/a lake, in July/August.

We are interested in other destinations as well.
