Maison

Our apartment is a very clear duplex of 70m ² in a pretty seaside resort. 1st floor of a house including 3 apartments, close to the beach … which you can see from terrace.
Neither luxurious nor pretentious, it is a house full with books, pictures of family and overflowing cupboards ...a lively house!

In bottom: the room of our son with a bed in 120.
then: WC, kitchen-bar (dishwasher, mix-oven) open on the dining room and the living room, and a balcony on which one can eat.
Floor: an open mezzanine with office, bed in 90 (with small TV); Bathroom (bath-tub, washing machine),
room of the parents with bed in 140.

small court in joint ownership with the back of the house, with BBQ, clothes line linen, possibility of eating outside.

Important to know… We are close to a church whose bell sounds at 12h and 19h… and Sunday morning!

Quartier

To go to the beach, you just have to cross the street! Carnon is a very tourist and animated resort (traditional market, restaurants on the port, luna park, shopping). We will leave you bicycles to circulate there easily (it's flat!)

To change beach, to 20 mn with car (or bus) and new tramway, there is Montpellier, town of culture and architecture, the Fabre Museum, the modern district of Antigone, and the middle-age streets with the very Mediterranean charm where one trails the evening late!
30 mn, you find Camargue, its horses, its toros, its traditions…
45mn, the wine plain with the many caveaux one to discover the wines of Languedoc, the wild landscape of the Lake of Salagou , or Nimes Roman city and the Bridge of Gard.
1H30, the Cevennes or the Viaduct of Millau in Aveyron… A broad variety of landscapes within reach!
Paris is 3H30 from Montpellier in the TGV, Toulouse 2h30 and Marseille 1h30.
We can leave you one of our two cars, monospace Fiat Multipla or small Hyundai Atos,
2 VTT, 1 Dutch Bicycle, and one canoé .

Montpellier airport is 10mn from our house.

we often travel with another child (friend or cousin!)

without forgetting Toumaï, adorable small affectionate white she-cat, which will prefer to stay at home, with your good care! she is very clean and caline… but has long hair...so allergic have to abstain! She lives between outside and inside the house.

Our neighbours are very friendly, and our family lives in our small city and will be pleased to accomodate you!
Languages Spoken:
French ... and bad english!

Destination

fabulous first swap fastly concluded in august 2007 with Lanzarote. summer 2008 in a beautiful cottage in Ireland ;

looking for a new home exchange for august 2009:

As we love sea, islands, surf and diving, we dream to go to Gozo/Malta, Balears or Canary Islands, Corsica, Greece/Kreta, Sicily, Sardinia...
but also ready to stay in France: Pays Basque, Landes, not too far from the sea!
We would prefer not to be in a big town.
