100-year-old farmhouse, with modern renovations, in the beautiful Seattle neighborhood of Ballard. Walking distance to historic Ballard - restaurants, movies, shopping. Close to bus routes for main tourist areas - Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, parks and beaches. 10-minute drive to downtown Seattle, and easy access to ferry terminals.

House features large master bedroom and bathroom, guest bedroom with queen bed, 2 rooms each with a single bed. Enclosed backyard for play, hottub, propane grill, deck, patio. HDTV, wi-fi, audio system. Kitchen with gas stove and oven, microwave, eat-in dinette.

Toys available for children. No smoking household. Easy on-street parking.

Quartier

Quiet neighborhood in Ballard area just north of downtown Seattle. In Seattle, go to the Opera, museums, Mariners and other sports events. Visit the many parks, attractions for children, seasonal events at the Convention Center. Spend a week on either end of an Alaskan cruise. If you do want to visit other Seattle areas, buses are a close walk or access to the highways is easy. 15-minute drive to most area attractions.

Or get outdoors - kayaking, hiking, skiing, backpacking, birding -- Seattle is the gateway to it all - in all four seasons!

Or, spend some time in Ballard. Neighborhood features museums, movies, restaurants, nightlife/live music, brewpubs, beaches and parks - many within walking distance!

À propos de nous

My husband and I love Ballard! But we also want to travel the world and visit our families in Ohio and Connecticut. We have a 6 year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy. I work for an environmental organization and my husband is an audio engineer.

We did a home exchange last summer in Whistler BC and had a great experience with it.

Destination

In general, open to non-simultaneous exchanges in the US/Canada and long weekends in the Northwest/West Coast.
