I'm a 33yo Teaching Assistant, doing a Ph.D. at the University of Toronto. I'm open to exchange my bachelor apt (about 34 square meters) in the heart of Toronto, 3 minutes of walk from the UofT and 5 from Ryerson. Shops and shopping malls are just round the corner of my street, which is a private road very calm. The apartment is at 5th floor in a building of 26, with 3 elevators.

The building has a small gym, a small library and a large party room you can book through the office. If you rent a car, you'll have a private parking in the garage under the building. I have a bike that can be used as well. Very good for graduate or undergraduate students who need to visit university. Steps to the Gay Village.

The apartment has, in the same room, a queen size Ikea sofa-bed (easy to pull out and push back) and a single Ikea chair-bed. New flooring in hall and kitchen. Other facilities: Air Conditioning, Cable-Tv, Broadband Internet hook-up (with your own laptop). New bathroom. New stove fan hood in kitchen vented to outside. Retractable screen on balcony door. Floor and ceiling radiant heat (EXTREMELY warm in Winter). Hardwood/parquet floors. 24 hour security. Management office on site.

Quartier

Gloucester street is a private road with no shops, going from Church Street (the main road of the Gay Village) to Yonge street, Toronto's longest and most commercial street. University of Toronto is 3 mins west walking, Ryerson university 5 minutes south. Lots of restaurant, supermarkets, clubs, nightclubs, pubs, cinemas, theatres and tourist attractions. TTC is two minutes away both North (Bloor/Yonge) and South of my apartment (Wellesley).

Now a graduate student, writer and a Teaching Assistant, I was a freelance journalist in Italy. I'm Italian and I speak Italian, English and Spanish. I'm 33yo. I may travel alone or with an adult friend.

I`m somewhat an experienced exchanger (I used to follow my parents who have exchanged with North American families from 1985 to 1994) and I take pride in my property and respect the property of others.
