Clean bright and spacious modern accomodation with comfortable furnishings and hardwood flooring to ground floor entrance hall, family room and kitchen. Low voltage lighting throughout, surround sound system, dvd, cd and plasma screen. Extensive music collect to enjoy.

House set within beautiful village with private gardens including landscaping, patio, decking, bar-b-que and hammock over looking private stream with tranquil relaxing sound.

Quartier

Unique conservation village built by William Quarrier around 1880 of detached sandstone homes, formaly childrens homes set in beautiful open plan landscaped maintained gardens and private roads. Listed church (Now converted to flats), village hall, artist studio and gallery and fantastic resturant all within walking distance of our home. But only 10mins from Glasgow airport or 25mins to Glasgow city centre.
Preswick airport 40mins away (Ryan air cheap flights destination.)

Kilmalcom and Bridge of Weir villages are both within 3 miles of Quarriers and both connected by a newly constructed safe cycle path and bridge, or 2mins by car. They both have a selection of traditional scottish shops including butchers, delicatesants, coffee shops, chemists, newsagents, kilt hire, libaries and estate agents.

Quarrier's is a very welcoming and freindly place to visit due to it's outstanding beauty and peacefullyness yet only 30mins from Glasgow city centre attractions or Loch Lomand and the West Coast. Edinburgh is no more than 90mins away. Glasgow airport is 10mins from our home.

Glasgow is hosting The Commonwealth games in 2014.

Professional couple mid 40's with two children. I am formaly an architect, now in construction management and my wife is a sales executive in the house building industry. I am a member of the local festival trust. I have a great intrest in music from classical to current chart and run a professional entertainment company for local organisations and events. I also have a keen intrest in photography, historic buildings and arcitecture. Our children love being out doors, playing football, music and yes - xbox 360!

Latest hobby is ski-ing.
