Maison

My cottage was built in 1928. I remodeled and updated it to a beautiful home, with all modern ammenites. It is situated in a private and secluded location. It is adorable and homey. I have two large bedrooms (by Venice Beach standards) and 2 bathrooms. It has hardwood floors in Living Room, kitchen and utility room and carpeting in bedrooms. You do not need an Air Conditioner; our beach faces South/West and there is a cool breeze in the summer (June-Spt) There is a lovely garden and park bench and tables in the back yard to Bar-B-Que. The kitchen has a refrig, stove, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. You can use my dishes and silverware. I have plenaty of cutting boards so please protect the kitchen counter tops. There is a cute Oak table and 4 chairs for dining. There is a TV in the 2nd bedroom and a futon makes into a dbl bed. The Master bedroom has a double bed, which is firm. I have internet access, but you need to bring your own laptop. A cell phone is best. It is in a residential area about 8 blks to the famous Venice Beach and easy bus to Santa Monica. It is about a 40 minute drive to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and Universal Studios. I have a maid and a gardener.

Residential. Many people in the entertainment industry live around me. Venice is a very artsey community. Many yoga studios, vegan resturants and organic markets surround this area.

I am a retired, single nurse. I do some Real Estate investing. I am a proud mother of two. My son is serving in the Army. He lives w/ his wife in Germany. I need to exchange to help care for my daughter-in-law, who is expecting my first grand-baby..

Destination

My home is available from March 10, 2008 until the end of August 2008. But I need a place in Stuttgart Germany May, June, July and August, 2008
