Maison

Our house is open designed, luminous and friendly with big glassdoors towards the garden with 200m² living space and new modern, high quality furniture. It's surrounded by a big and beautiful garden with a little creek on the end of the ground.

It has 3 bedrooms (2/1/2) and 1 small guestroom (bed:120x200cm), 1 bath with bath/shower/toilette, 1 bath (enclosed to the masterbedroom) with shower/toilette and 1 extra guest toilette, high-speed Internet-connection (wireless LAN), DVD-recorder...., underfloor central heating, barbecue on the terrace, outdoor furniture, carport, bikes, car exchange possible.

Our home is only available for NON SMOKERS. NO PETS allowed! Please note, that our house is not really suitable for toddlers and crawling babies (stairs, no child safety looks, uncovered sockets, we've no baby cot...).

Quartier

We live in a small village. It is a rural, idyllic, quiet and very safe area where you can enjoy the superb nature. It's ideal for walking/hiking and (mountain-)biking - there are a lot of alpine huts around - or simply relax in our big garden and listen to the babble of the brook. Supermarket and bank: 500m; 200m away from our house meadows and forest starts.
Nearby (3km) is a little lake for swimming.
Within 5 mn driving there's a nice small town (Knittelfeld) and with the car, for example, you are
- in 25 minutes in LEOBEN,
- in 45 minutes in GRAZ (big shopping malls, museums, culture..., great historic city centre/world heritage site, palace Eggenberg, clocktower...),
- in less than 2 hours in VIENNA and 2 hours away from SALZBURG, 4 hours from INNSBRUCK, VENICE (Italy) and MUNICH (Germany)
- thermal bath (hot springs) Aqualux, is only 15 minutes away.
- Asia spa & bath 25 minutes
In winter skiing is very nearby (about 10km) and great skiing areas can be reached between 1/2 and 1 hour.
The cross country-course (if there is snow) is only 150m away from our house.
Good and excellent dining restaurants are close by here. Also pizzerias and normal locations/inns.

À propos de nous

We are looking for a house on/or nearby the sea but an interest city break is also worth a trip - surprise us with your offer!

Normally we are 4: Wolfgang (44, works as QMM), Birgit (46, civil servant), Kerstin (16) and Alexander (18) but in summer 2012 we would love to take our granny with us so we would be 5.
We love the sea, sports, nature, gardening, silence, reading while relaxing, culture, travelling... and we have a weakness for excellent meals/foods :)

We have no pets and prefer no pet care during our holidays (to feed some fish, a cat or a turtle, for example, would be ok for us, but we wouldn't take care of a dog).

We can correspond in German, English and a little bit in Italiano, French and Spanish

Destination

We are looking for a house at the sea/beachfront or nearby .... - in summer 2012 we would love to visit Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany (Schleswig-Holstein) or France (Bretagne/Finistere) or England (Cornwall) - but we are open for other interest suggestions - please surprise us :o))!

The exchange needn't to be simultaneous.

Exchange is possible each year during our school-holiday times
Christmas: 25 12 - 06 01
half year: 3rd week in February (exchange only in Europe, city trips prefered)
Eastern (mainly in Europe, city trips prefered)
summer: middle of July - middle of September
and for short stays in Europe also on long weekends.
