Maison

Situated on the edge of a Irish heather bog this house has amazing views of the Sperrin Mountains and scenic Gortin Glens. 5 miles from Omagh in County Tyrone.

Newly renovated family home with new kitchen, 3 double bedrooms & 1 single. The 2 upstairs rooms have en-suite facilities with showers. New bathroom downstairs with big, deep bath for relaxing. Also computer/play room.

The house is approached by a quiet little road across a heather bog. The nearest neighbours are 2 minutes walk away.

I dont have a decent photo of the house yet so this is a typical example of the local scenery. A house photo will follow in due course.

Quartier

This is a rural neighbourhood. The Forest Park is only a few minutes drive away and is ideal for hill walks.

The town of Omagh is good for shopping and entertainment with a leisure centre/swimming pool, cinema, and good pubs, restaurants etc. The Ulster American Folk Park is five minutes by car and is a great day out for the family.

An hour's drive will take you to the beach in Donegal, to Lough Erne for sightseeing or water sports, or through the Sperrins to Londonderry.

Belfast is 1:45 hours and Dublin airport 2:30 hours by car.

The countryside is green and picturesque. The Irish are famed for their hospitality and craic.

Our family and friends are nearby and will help out if there is an emergency.

We are a government veterinarian and a teacher with two children (5 and 3).

We speak English and a little French.

Our children keep us busy and we are involved in our local church.

Destination

We need somewhere for 2 people for one week in Toronto, near Pearson Airport 21st to 28th September 2008.

Alternatively we need a base for a family holiday. Preferably near a beach or pool. With some interesting day trips to entertain little children.
