Maison

We are an British expat family (investment banker and retired marketing research professional, with 4 young children) living in Hong Kong. We are open to swapping our beautiful holiday home in Phuket, Thailand for either a spacious, high quality family home in the the UK or a holiday villa in France, Spain or Italy in summer 2013.

Our property is just a 3 minute walk from the beautiful 6km long Bangtao beach. It is located in a secure high-end gated development with a lovely communal swimming pool and children's paddling pool and landscaped gardens. The spacious apartment (approx 2500 sq ft) comprises open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, utility room, 3 double bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms). Each of the bedrooms opens onto the terrace which surrounds the property and the front terrace opens directly onto a large lawned area which provides a safe place for children to play and for adults to enjoy relax and a sunset drink. There are 2 baby cots and up to two extra folding beds available if needed. l and is set in well-lanscaped gardens. Great restaurants and beaches in the area. Car hire strongly recommended for greater flexibility and ease of shopping (though there are several beach restaurants within walking distance and taxis are readily available).

Quartier

Our property is directly facing the very best bit of Bangtao beach - this section of the beach is uncrowded even in peak season, but sprinkled with a few nice beach bars and local Thai restaurants. It is adjacent to the 5-star Laguna hotel, shopping and golf development - so all the facilities of this complex and lots of Thai and international restaurants are within a few minutes drive.

We are a British expat family (investment banker and retired managing director of a marketing research company with 4 young children. We have been living in Asia, mostly Hong Kong, for the past 17 years. We usually travel to the UK in the summer to visit family and would be open to a house swap there, especially in the north Manchester/Saddleworth/West Yorks area. We would also exchanges in Europe during the summer or in Australia during Christmas, February, Easter or October.
As our Phuket property is a holiday home exchanges would not need to be simultaneous.

Destination

We would be interested in a property with with a nice garden and at least 4 bedrooms in the North Manchester/Saddleworth/Yest Yorks area.
Our party includes 4 primary school age children.

The property we are exchanging is our holiday home in Phuket - so a non-simultaneous swap could be possible.
