Maison

With its location closed to Colmar downtown and station, our appartment allows you to discover easily and enjoy the beauty of Colmar -the so typically Alsace town - and the small villages in the vineyards, in its neighbourhoods.
Using the train, you will be able also to visit Strasbourg & Freiburg-im-Breisgau where modern musems just fit with antique cathedrals and buildings.
Our appartement is quite large and quiet, with some friendly neighbours.
You will be able also to use bikes and train to discover the Vosges mountains and valleys, and or the very beautiful and typical villages, to do some hiking, moutain-biking or just walk by and enjoy.
Great food and Gewurtztraminer & other great wines will just be "the cherry on the cake" !

Quartier

We live in a very quiet neighbourhood, but very close by the active and typical downtown of Colmar city (which can easily be discovered by foot).
The children can enjoy parks near by with secured games. They also have a specific museum dedicated for them called "Musée du jouet" (the Toy museum).
On their hand, the adults can visit a great museum called the Unterlinden museum (world-famous) and all the family can end by great shopping !
As our appartment is not far from downtown (just 5 minutes' walk), discovering is easy and not exhausting !

À propos de nous

It is the first time we go for an exchange but we are willing to offer the best to allow you enjoy our region !
As a family (with a little 4 year-girl called Louise), we like to discover some new countries and people and would be very pleased to meet a foreign family whom goal is the same.
We can speak either English, or Italian, or Spanish, or little German, but we believe that we can understand each other even if we do not have the same language !
We do have some friends who can speak foreign languages (they share their lifes with foreign people) and that are ready to welcome you !
