Maison

Beautifull semi-detatched house (2002) provence style, in a secured living area with about 30 houses on the border of Aix-en-Provence. Bus station, some shops, banks, restaurants, etc by foot, but not directly in the city center.

Very nice garden with pool, poolhouse, two terraces (covered in summer for shade).

4 Bedrooms, one office with two desks, laundry with washer and dryer, very nice built in american kitchen.

Very nicely decorated with the ocres of Provence and Cotto tiles.

ADSL Internet connection, telephone free for about 30 countries!
Fax, TV with french and german channels.

Quartier

Very nice and friendly neighbors, uniting twice a year to eat and drink together. Short walk for transportation (every 15 minutes a bus to Aix city center taking only 11 minutes) TGV and Airport only 20 and 30 minutes away (bus!)

Walks on the famous Montagne Sainte Victoire (painted by Cézanne) and easy to reach as well as the seaside (45 minutes), Côte bleue, Marseille , Camargue and the Lubéron (Avignon, Apt etc).

À propos de nous

We are two adults (women) and two children (girls) aged 33, 43, 15 and 10 and would like to stay an accademic year in England to give the girls and us the opportunity to improve our english. Mom is an author of historical fiction and very successful in Germany. The girls are very well educated and good pupils. We have a well behaved dog we would like to bring with us. She is used to stay in the living area and does not go into the bedrooms.

We are very clean people and do not smoke. We would ask you to take care of our house as well as we would of cause take care of yours.

Destination

We are looking for a nice house and a nice english area, a small city or in the countryside, not London, Birmingham, Manchester please.

Bath, Winchester, Cambridge, Oxford, Canterbury etc. preferred.

We could think about swaping cars too.
