Maison

Our house is a very large (2300 sq. ft) ranch with an open floor plan & a finished basement with wet bar. The master bedroom has a king bed & own bathroom. The 1st floor has two good-sized children's rooms as well. The guest bedroom is on the lower level. Our sunny home looks back onto a large backyard with big trees that is adjacent to a large corn field -- allowing privacy & a pretty view. Our home is 13 years old, modern, & comfortable.

Quartier

We live in a very nice, family-friendly neighborhood with many parks & services. It is a quiet end street that has little traffic. We can walk to our awesome library (great kids section), post office, grocery, stores, & restaurants. We are a 10 minute drive from a major interstate highway & 20 minutes to downtown madison. Our neighbors are really friendly and often very helpful, with a weekly local playgroup for young children.

À propos de nous

My husband, Adam, will be attending school at Imperial College in London from January, 2008 to June, 2008. Our son (4 years old), daughter (1 1/2 years old), & I plan to visit him for a week or two during that time. I am a clinical psychologist in a private practice nearby. We love hiking, sailing, ballroom dancing, reading, &, of course, quality playtime with our children.

Destination

We are looking for a place to stay in London, England for 2 adults & 2 small children. A location close to train stations or interesting sites would be helpful. Our dates are flexible.
