Maison

Our compact and elegant character home is well heated with gas and electric heating and has all the amenities for modern living. Free Wireless Broadband is available and we have a productive vegetable garden and small but beautiful flower garden..

Quartier

We live in a beautiful area surrounded by established homes and gardens. We can walk easily to the village shops, boutiques and cafes within 20 minutes and are surrounded by some of the world's finest wineries just a short drive away.
Public transport at the end of the street.
Excellent golden sand swimming beaches and beautiful countryside are all around and we are half a day's driving from our Capital City Wellington. North just 2 hours to Lake Taupo for fishing and then on to snow skiing centre Mt Ruapehu.

À propos de nous

We are an adventurous and energetic couple whose adult children have fled the nest and we are now exploring the world!

We have a very friendly 8 year old Scottish terrier who is undemanding and only seeks companionship and the occasional short walk. She is accustomed to staying in boarding kennels or going to stay with one of our adult children in another town when we go away.

Our neighbours are friendly and keep an eye out for us in a non intrusive way, so we feel very fortunate.

David has been a Sports Club administrator and Morag has run her own small Domestic Concierge Company in Havelock North. We have many interests which keep us active and vibrant.

Destination

We are flexible about when and where we stay in the UK although we would LOVE to be near Lords for a time for David's sake! We have a daughter in Edinburgh and would be very happy to be near her at some stage. We do not need to be in the same home for the entire duration of our holiday in UK, nor do we require somebody to be constantly in our home.
