We are in CAIRNS, tropical north east Australia, beautiful street close to the Botanical Gardens/lakes/Great Barrier Reef, 5min walk to Edge Hill coffee shops/school/small supermarket.

It is a raised Queenslander timber house, 4 bedrooms, huge loungeroom, all timber floors, pool, cubbyhouse/sandpit, front/back decks, dishwasher, Allenzi gas stove, plasma TV, double garage underhouse, 3 bikes. 1 bathroom upstairs and self contained flat downstairs (good for teenagers retreat)

Quartier

Leafy quiet street with friendly neighbours and young families. Walk to local Edge Hill Shops which is a small area of quality cafes, boutiques, PO, newsagent, hairdressers/pedicures/spatreatments, 3 resturants/a pub, 2 ATM machines, liquor shop and bakery. Buses run to town and northers beaches every half hour from end of street. Botanical Gardens is 10 min walk and has various boardwalks, guided walks and fresh/saltwater Lakes with migrating birds for which international tourists/photographers especially target.

We are a professional legal family of 4 (2 sons 5 and 3 yrs old).
We speak English and love all sorts of music ( classical and rock).
We like camping, cycling, swimming and walking.

Destination

This needs to be a simultaneous exchange of a London family wishing to relocate to Tropical North Australlia for 1-2 years without transporting or storing all their furniture, so both parties will benefit and look after each others home. We are hoping to find legal work in London when we arrive and have our kids attend the local school.
