Maison

Our home is located in a quiet area.We are on three acres with beautiful large gum trees, lovely gardens, surrounding the swimming pool.We have a gazebo in the garden,often used for an afternoon siesta, a veranda which is frequently used for meals with BBQ & overlooks the pool as well.Our home is open plan living, bright & very comfortable.
We have a computer,fax,phone,washer & clothes dryer, dish washer, air -con,television, dvd,music system.
There are 2 kayaks for your use in the vast river & lakes area, plus 2 mountain bikes.The exchange car is an Hyundi Elantra , auto 4 door sedan.

Quartier

What we love about this area is that we feel as though we are miles from anywhere, but in fact we are only 10/15 minutes from everything. Shopping, restaurants,wonderful chefs here... if you love food, you will love Noosa. There are great fun markets, craft as well as food produce.Hotels, beaches,national parks, rivers & lakes are all close by.We have wonderful music festivals through the winter months. Which you will see are very mild.. we swim right through the year.
The nearest city (Brisbane) is about one to one & a half hours south. We are within an hour from Fraser Island (National Heritage), The Great Barrier Reef,Steve Erwin's Australian Zoo. Wonderful art galleries & wineries. And right here in Noosa there are talented artists & interesting theatre....

My husband & I are retired....although I still do some casual work, in retail...My husband retired from Financial Planning & Insurance. He sold his business several years ago. We travelled around Australia for a year or more, before deciding to settle here in Noosa... What a wonderful choice it has been. We have done quite a lot of travel & have wanted to house swap for some time. Sooo finally I am making progress. Many of our friends have started as well & have had some great experiences. So we thought it was time to make a start.

Destination

We are very flexible.... we are happy to tag one to another. We certainly can stay away for longer. Non-simultaneous exchanges would be okay.We have a 23 foot caravan, we can always travel if someone wanted to exchange at some other time...
Out main interest is Northern Italy, southern France,Germany, somewhere central where we can more around. My husband is also interested in Scotland. As I said we are very flexible if the time suits.
