Maison

Built in 1972, 1450 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, modest brick home. Third bedroom is used as an office with DSL internet access. Neat and clean, remodeled and modern, very comfortable, with all appliances you need in excellent working order -- washer/dryer, oven/stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker. Central heat and air. Stained concrete floors in living areas, carpet in master. Private master bath with shower. The master bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable tempurpedic king sized bed. Hall bath has bathtub. 1/2 bath is located in second bedroom. T.V. room has comfy furniture. No cable, but has VCR and DVD player and a selection of approximately 50 mostly G, PG, and PG 13 movies. We are non smokers and insist on same.

Quartier

Quiet, median-income neighborhood, virtually crime-free. Everyone keeps their lawns and homes looking nice. Two-minute drive to the two major highways that take you to Dallas and Fort Worth. Five-minute drive to Wal-Mart and Starbucks.

We are only 30 minutes from both Dallas and Fort Worth, and there is so much to do in these two cities.

À propos de nous

We have been married 20 years and have a 16-year-old son. Husband works full time in Dallas as a printer, wife works part time in home town as an office manager. Son attends the public high school and plays in the school's jazz band. When we travel, we generally stay in Texas, but we'd like to have the opportunity to expand our horizons a little and explore other parts of the U.S. We are hopeful that home exchange will make that possible.

Destination

We are most interested in New York City, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Orlando, anywhere in New England, Seattle, Las Vegas, Denver. But we would be willing to look at anywhere in the U.S. Our weekend dates are somewhat flexible, and we could most likely make it a 3- or 4-day weekend. Week-long trips need to be during spring break or during summer.
