We are well located in Orlando next to Universal Studios and 20 min. away from all the Disney attractions and conveniently close to major access roads ( 5 min. to turnpike and I-4). The house is a 1971 ranch style residence 3/2 with two-car garage. It has a pool and a large pet-friendly yard. Neither pool or house are child-proof. Master bedroom has its own bath. The other two bedrooms share a hall bath. The larger bedroom has a queen bed, the smaller one has a twin size bed, and a floor matress can be placed for the night. The house has a fireplace that is more for decoration than anything else.

Bedrooms are separated from the living area by sliding doors. The house is 1400 sqft under air. Kitchen is newly remodeled. Washer and dryer are in the garage.

Quartier

There is a nearby park for walking, roller-blading or bike riding with some nature trails. We also have lake access, if you bring a boat. It is at the end of the street, but you have to cross a two-lane road that is usually busy. Food, shopping, malls, dinning and entertainment are 6 min. by car, located in the most upscale area of Orlando.
The neighborhood is safe, not in decline, and fairly nice with plenty of trees around. You can safely take a walk at night. We know our neighbors well. It is middle class with caring people in. It does not get noisy, only maybe four times per year in our neighbors' house, since they organize parties for their friends. Most likely, they will have a New Year's party.The homes are all single-family and in good shape.
There is a bus line not far from the house that can take you to other places of the city. Universal Studios is so close that it is cheaper to pay a taxi to take you home than to park the car a the Universal parking lot. It is a 20 minute walk to Universal Studios and fireworks are visible from the house.

We are a multicultural family. Hubby is from Venezuela and wife from Germany. Our two children were born in the US but have not figured out that they have multiple nationalities. Hubby speaks Spanish and English, the wife has a talent for languages such as German, English, French and Spanish, plus she can figure out Russian!! Our kids kinda speak all three but have stuck mostly to English.
Hubby is a former victim of the Information Technology burnout group. No more computers for him. He is dedicated now to home inspections and residential construction with a passion for alternative living, environmentally concious construction and sustainable living. Likewise we eat heathy and mostly organic foods. The wife is dedicated to photography and home management.

Destination

This must be a simultaneous exchange since we would like to visit Minneapolis at Christmas time.
