house is at end of cul-de-sac - very quite.
located 5 mins from Lucan Village. 10 min drive to beautiful Phoenix Park. Countryside is only 10 mins, beautiful walks along canals and river liffey in Lucan. Three shopping centres (malls) within 10 mins drive. Kitchen has all modern conveniences. wireless broadband available. lots of books to read. Only 3 TV channels (deliberate decision so you are forced to read or get out !!) Guitar and Keyboards available if you feel like copying U2!

Born in Ireland. Fire Officer with Dublin Fire Department. Interests vary from studying and pretending that I am finishing my thesis to avoidance of same! Getting out to do physical activities like having a pint of guinness and occassionally swimming or cycling !
I speak three languages, Gaelic, English and bad (Cursing a lot when I see Irish teams loose in any sport and not finishing my thesis yet!)
My daugther and ex partner live in Canada and we try to meet 3 times a year, so this year we would like to spend a few days in Toronto and maybe Montreal. I have a cat that requires very little attention, neighbours will help out. Picture shows Dog too however she will be on hols, that way you can take a few days away from Dublin and get around the countryside. Remember, there is a lot of rain in Ireland not snow over christmas, so to keep your core temperature up, you will learn how to have hot whiskeys.

Destination

Toronto preferred choice, I do not require simutaneous exchange. exchange guests are welcome to stay on with me if dates over lap. I am holidaying in Canada from Dec 19 to Jan 12, so if your dates are later or earlier, you are welcome to stay with me. I just need a place for a few days where I can bring my 10 year daughter for a few days to Toronto.
note to remember, there are very cheap flights from Dublin to over 100 destinations in Europe, so Dublin is a good base to avail of this. My house is a 15 - 25 min drive to the airport.
