Maison

A newly converted 1920's house creating a modern open plan home perfectly designed for those with children. The house is arranged over two floors with a large main bedroom en-suite. The 4th bedroom is downstairs and is used as a playroom by our children but can comfortably sleep two people. The house will sleep up to 6 comfortably although the children's rooms are big enough to sleep 2 in each. The house is set within a friendly village with off-road parking for 2/3 cars. The garden extends to about 140ft backing onto open countryside. The front of the house overlooks the village green and playing fields

Quartier

The house is in a very friendly village set in beautiful historic countryside. We are in an excellent position for the countryside, the beach and for visiting London. We are approx 4 miles from the town of Battle in one direction and Bexhill in the other for shopping and the beach. We are also close to Eastbourne, Hastings and Brighton. In Bexhill there is a sports cente, swimming pool and bowling. We have a garage, post office and small shop in the village which meets all immediate needs. Opposite our house is a large recreation field and park for children. There are plenty of country and coastal walks here and we are spoilt for historical sites and local festivals. We are about an hour by train from the centre of London with good train connections from Battle.

À propos de nous

We are Paul and Alison and we have two young sons (12 & 8 years) with another baby due Oct 2010. Paul is a designer of recycled cardboard products and Alison works as a Quality Improvement officer for Early Years care and education. We love traveling and experiencing new cultures. We have a dog (who will not be here if exchanging) and two guinea pigs.

Destination

The dates would have to fit around school holidays at the moment but would consider weekends if swapping in Northern Europe or the UK.
