Our waterfront home is a lovely heritage listed home in an elevated position overlooking beautiful Lake Macquarie 1.5 hours drive north of Sydney, New South Wales. All bedrooms and living room have high ceilings and french doors opening onto a large 3metre wide return verandah overlooking the lake and the pool which is 17m long (lap pool) with a spa. The garden is large (approx. 3000m2) with magnificent 100 year old trees and lots of room for children to play and explore. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite (double shower). The main bathroom has a toilet, vanity, bath & separate shower. There is also a separate toilet. The kitchen is large with granite benchtops, stove, dishwasher, microwave etc. The dining room seats 8 people. The house has ducted air conditioning throughout and an alarm system. There is also a "boatshed" right on the waterfront with a small bathroom and kitchenette which can be used while sitting by the lake.

Quartier

The house is located in a cul-de-sac with amazing lake views and direct lake access. We are approx. 1.5 hours drive north of Sydney, 45 minutes drive from the wonderful vineyards of the Hunter Valley, 5 minutes drive from the beach and walking distance to local shops and parks.

We are a family of four - I am 42 years old (pilot) and my wife, Megan (41) is a teacher. We have 2 boys - Troy (8) and Dane (6) who love sport and playing outdoors. We enjoy the great outdoors, love visiting new places and meeting nice people.

Destination

We are specifically looking for a house exchange close to Toulouse (preferably in a rural village or maybe suburban with large yard) no more than 20-30 minutes drive from the airport in Toulouse.
