Maison

Top floor Two bedroom apartment overlooking the sea. Photo taken from apartment bedroom. It is just 4 years old and furnishings are new. There is also a double bed sofa in the living room. There are three air condition units and underfloor heating for winter time. There is a washing machine and dishwasher in the apartment. The apartment is 65sq M. with a balcony overlooking the marina. It is less than a ten minute walk to the town past the new Nautica hotel and on the way there are supermarkets and restaurants.

Quartier

Beautiful wooded seashore walkway just outside the apartment. Overlooking a five star marina and facing the old town of Novigrad in Istria. There are numerous excellent restaurants within walking distance and the new Timeout book on Croatia describes it as the perfect place for a romantic break. Novigrad is within a half hour drive from Porec, Umag and the hilltop towns of Buzet and Motovun. Rovinj. A trip over the border to Slovenia town of Piran is also within half hour drive. There are numerous swimming areas most of which are very child friendly.

À propos de nous

We spent years travelling up and down Croatia to find exactly a town where we felt was suitable for us and we found it in Novigrad. What we like about the place is that it is an Istrian seaside town without the mass tourism of Porec or Rovinj. Yet we can visit these places so easily and return to the perfectly clean waters of Novigrad for a swim at the end of the day.We can fly here many ways as we are less than 3hrs from venice and only 50 Km to Trieste. Pula is less than an hour away. My wife and I are hoping to use it more in the Autumn as it is perfect for truffle hunting and visiting the sights in comfort. I am retired and my wife is a Midwife. We live in Ireland and this is our holiday home. Everyone who visits adore the area and wish to return.

Destination

We would love to visit New York area before the summer heat. As our apartment is a holiday home it does not have to be exchanged at the same time and is available from now. Long weekends or midweek that are in easy access to interesting towns in Europe. We would like to visit New York sometime or somewhere on the sea within 3 hrs to NEW YORK. As sailing is a passion anywhere nautical would be interesting.
