Maison

The apartment (85 sqm) contains 2 bedrooms, a living room with a good surround sound system and a big flat screen TV, a nice bathroom incl. washer and dryer. The kitchen was newly renovated with dishwasher, mirowave and other modern utilities. We have wireless internet which is available for use,
We have a nice spacious balcony which is perfect to enjoy late nights, and it can furthermore be closed completely with glass windows, so it can be used as an extra living room.
The flat is located on the 5th floor, (don´t worry there is a lift) with a nice view over the neighbourhood. The flat is spacious and have plenty of natural light. The entire building complex has easy access for disable people.

Quartier

The apartment is situated in a very nice area with plenty cosy cafes and bares, restaurants and shops. You are only 10 min from a new and very trendy renovated beach (Amager Strandpark). Island Brygge is not fare away which is a newly renovate sea front with many trendy bares and restaurant. Furteremore a part of the habour has been cleaned so you have the possibility to jump in for a swim. Copenhagen is a city that is ideal to explore on bike, the city have great cycle lanes. We have 3 bikes which is available for you during your stay.

The metro station is within 5 min. walking distance, and furthermore there are several bus lines which will take you to every part of Copenhagen you want to see. If you fancy a walk, it only takes 15-20 minutes to be on the main shopping street in Copenhagen (Strøget).
The metro stops at the airport and the trip from the airport to our place takes aprrox. 10-15 min.

Copenhagen offers all kinds of cultural activities. The Apartment is close to the new opera and there are several concert venues in the area. Furthermore Christiania is only a 5 min walk away. Copenhagen has a great history and there is a vast amount of museums which will satisfy most people.

À propos de nous

We are a young couple, both 27 years old. I (Kim) study radiology and my fiancée hold a Msc in International marketing and brand management and work in an itnernational company.
We both love to travel, and explore new places. We'll take great concerns to treat the home we will swap with, as we do with our own.
We are open to do house swapping for short weekend breaks, as well as for longer vacations.
We'll provide as much info about things to do, and were to go in Copenhagen in order to make the stay as good and eventful as possible.



Destination

We will be married next year (2009) in august. Therefore we are looking for a swap around the 31st of august for our honnymoon. We would like to go to a romantic spot some where in Asia, preferly for two weeks.
