The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a 3store house, built at the turn of the last century (1896). The style of this old house is called "Gründerzeit".
My apartment has 85 square meters. There are 2 bedrooms sleeping four, living room with sofa and a big dining table, kitchen, bath and toilet. It is suitable for 4 to 5 persons.
The flat has the basic technical equipment like central heating, gas stove, dish washer, bath with tub and washing machine. There are a big and a small hi-fi tower, and TV.
A tiled stove gives the living room a cosy atmosphere in winter and warms up a wall in the bedroom where you can lean on. Wood floors and high ceilings give a nice surrounding for my mixed interior, with old pieces and new designer stuff and a lot between.

Quartier

We live in the 18th district called Währing. It is an old, nice and safe, good-living area of Vienna, 15 minutes to the centre district with public transportation (2,5 km). Nearby there are historic parks, public swimming-pool and the great wood- recreation area on the hilly boundary of the city.
You find shops for your daily need and restaurants nearby. The cable car stop about 50 meters away.

We are a couple in our forties, easy going and open minted. We enjoy travelling and have experience with home exchanges in Italy, Montreal, NY, Croatia and Prague.
