Maison

I have a small warm house, 3 bedrooms,sep. kitchen, plus office.It is insulated in the ceilings.Located in the city and looking over to a nature/wetland reserve. A lovely pathway follows this Waihopai river reserve around the city. I have an open fire in the lounge and carpet throughout. The section is small with native trees and flowering shrubs in the garden.A carport is attached to the house.It is private and sunny,not facing into the neighbouring houses.The road is quiet and about 2 trains perday travel parrallel to the road(wood and export goods).Presently we use it as a 4 bedroom house.

Quartier

Friendly young families and retired couples reside in the area.It has highly reguarded schools within walking distance.I go for early morning walks along the reserve.My children play in the trees or cycle in the reserve constantly.Access to any sport is easy around Invercargill. Cycle ways are through the city and buses close by if needed.

I am presently a science teacher with three children,7,10,14 years.We are travel to France in July 2007 for one year.I have spent much of my life on farms and in the mountains.Love walking,mountain biking,skiing,swiming,boating etc.My children are the same.Previous employment for conservation and tourism around New Zealand.Currently I also compete for New Zealand in Olympic bar weightlifting (masters).Travelled to Canada and France for the sport. I will be competing in Hungary August 2007.We speak a small amount of French, intending to learn more!

Destination

We would prefer long stay in the rural or small towns of France.WE would love to have animals.This could be a non-simultaneous exchange as we have other accommodation available.
