Maison

Wonderful views, spacious condo, easy access, and close to all types of mountain activities. Free shuttle bus to all of Summit County, Colorado stops just outside the door. Large living area with wood-burning fireplace, flat-screen TV/DVD; free wireless Internet and LAN. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. top floor corner unit with elevator access. Third bedroom and bath are in the loft (up stairs). There is a spa/hot tub in the center courtyard of the building (common area) -- wonderful for snowy evenings. Also an indoor pool, sauna, and spa in a secure detached building. Laundry facilities and 24-hour property management are on site. Daily maid service for a fee. We love this beautiful spot.

Quartier

Keystone has its own ski area (one of the few that has night skiing) and is near Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Nordic Center, and Vail. Five of Ski Magazine's top 20 ski resorts are within easy access, some of them a free ride on the Summit Bus. There are two villages: one at Keystone Lake (where we are located) and one a little farther up the road at Keystone River Run.

Nearby are the historic mining towns of Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne (with its outlet malls), and numerous hiking paths, trout streams, and bicycle trails. We have local theatre and concerts, and Denver is about 90 minutes away. In the summer, river rafting, trout fishing, and downhill mountain biking (via the ski lifts) are popular sports. There are fireworks over the lake every Saturday night in the summer. In winter you can watch the ice skaters from the dining nook.

We are in our sixties, non-smokers. My husband is a computer engineer, and I am a communications training consultant. We have enjoyed several successful home exchanges.

Destination

We have exchanged with families in Texas, Italy, Scotland, and California. Each of these has been a wonderful experience.
