Maison

The home is a well-maintained character wooden 1930s house, with new kitchen and modern bathroom. From the lounge bay window you have a great view across the valley and Cook Strait. It includes a nice outdoor area and garden. Drive-on access and garage.

Quartier

Very very quiet, hilly and green. You can watch the view for hours. Yet only a five minute drive into the centre of the city, so this is still central Wellington. It's a 10 minute walk to the local shops - all the basics like bottle store, take-aways, superette etc. The nearest bus-stop is about a 3-4 minute walk, which takes you straight into the city. Walking into central Wellington is about 25 minutes. Good public transport.

I am a professional woman working in IT. I am currently self-employed which does afford me some flexibility. I enjoy travel and am particularly keen on spending more time in France, since I studied the language for a long time. I am responsible and would look after your place as if it were my own (in return for the same from you).

Destination

The dates are flexible at this stage. I am interested in spending about a month in France in August-October 08. Am interested in Paris or South of France, preferably both!

Non-simultaneous exchange is possible, if August-October does not suit you. We can discuss this option.

IMPORTANT: I have two cats here, so if someone was interested in my house they would have to like cats and look after them.
