Maison

Situated just north of Cairns, our one level open plan home takes advantage of its rainforest backdrop. If you are lucky, you may see wallabies doing their morning exercise from the study, masterbedroom, 2nd bedroom, kitchen and living areas, all with patios facing the backyard. A 3rd bedroom doubles as a TV room. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax after touring around the Cairns region.

Quartier

Within easy driving of Cairns, Port Douglas and the Tablelands, it is a great base for exploring Far North Queensland. Our home is convenient to shopping, restaurants and beaches. As one of the gated communities of the Paradise Palms Golf Course, you can walk up for a drink, have dinner at the clubhouse , or play a round of golf.

We are a semi-retired couple from a teaching and tourism background, who enjoy travelling.

Destination

We are planning a trip to South America for about a month sometime during Sept through Nov 2008. We also hope to visit the northeast USA (Maine, Mass) and Washington DC. with perhaps a stop in Europe (Greece, Croatia, Czechoslavakia) on the way home. We are still in the planning stages.
