Vintner's Villa is bright and airy with lovely open verandahs. There are two bedrooms with Queen beds and one with a trundle. Reverse cycle air conditioning ensures your comfort no matter the weather. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a gas stove, microwave and full sized refrigerator. Should you need it, the laundry includes both a washer and dryer. There is a gas BBQ and table setting outside for those who prefer to dine al fresco.

Open verandahs surround the cottage and comfortable papasan chairs entice you to relax and watch the world go by - whilst sipping a glass of that special something purchased in your meanderings to some of hundreds of cellar doors of course!

Children are more than welcome at Vintner's - we have two of our own who spend a lot of time there. For your convenience there is a portacot, a pram, a safety bar for the bed, books for bedtime stories, children's channels on Foxtel, videos and indoor/outdoor toys for your use. Stepping stools, plastic plates and no internal stairs make life easier for all!

Older children might enjoy a game of tennis or fishing in the dam (my boys have caught catfish and silver perch there). Should you have any further questions, please ask.

Quartier

The vineyard has a lot to offer. Depending on your level of energy, there are walking tracks, stocked dams, a practice golf hole, 3 tennis courts, boulles courts and of course, a cellar door!

The vineyard is gated in the evening to ensure you feel secure. Come and help pick the grapes, stomp them if you are lucky or just relax!


We are truly located in the Heart of the Hunter. Hundreds of cellar doors, hot air ballooning, golf courses and five star restaurant abound. Take your time to explore and visit some of the lesser known vineyards and find some memories to make it your own!

We realise wine tasting is a very personal experience, but we thought we would let you know some of the ones we like to frequent! In Lovedale, we enjoy Capercaillie has a great shop and the lovely, new Adina. In Pokolbin our favourites are the Organic Tamburlaine, Lake's Folly where superb quality chardonnay and cabernets are produced, Poole's Rock which offers exquisite wines with intriguing names and Pokolbin Estate which has a lovely open fire for those chilly days!

My family and I live in rural New South Wales. This is our weekender therefore the exchange does not have to be simultaneous. My husband is a GM for a manufacturing company and enjoys golf and soccer. I am a teacher currently pursuing a Master's. I enjoy cycling and reading. I am an American. Our two children are 7 and 4. Our 7 year old loves horseback riding and tennis. Our youngest is a soccer fiend! We are hoping to explore more in the comfort of homes rather than hotels.

Destination

As this property is our weekender, the exchange does not have to be simultaneous. We are open to weekends away, school holiday trips or even weekday school holiday trips if that is more suitable.

We would love a swap in Sydney or the Nelson Bay, Central Coast or Hawke's Nest areas, but are open to all offers!
