Maison

An old house from 1896 decorated with antiques and located by the sea available for family to experience Nordic nature. Very quiet and beautiful location 34 km from the city of Turku, the old capital of Finland, and 170 km from Helsinki, the current capital.

A sauna building by the sea offering unique opportunity to enjoy the clean environment and hot tub. Beautiful landscape in spring-summer-autumn for hiking, canoing (canoes and a rowing boat available for free at the estate), fishing, swimming, golf (12 km) etc, and in the winter time possibilities for cross-country skiing, playing with snow, meeting the genuine Santa Claus, skating on the ice cover of the sea, visiting cultural and historical attractions in the Turku area, to mention just a few.

Quartier

The location is very quiet with only 1 neighbor right next to our house. Most of the houses in the village are traditional farming houses. The closest home bakery is located less than 1 km away.

The environment is very untouched nature with great opportunities for hiking, canoing etc. However, there's only 12 km to the closest town center with all the services such as super markets, restaurants etc.

There's a closest coach stop in 3 km and therefore a private car is a must for easy transportation. A swap car can be negotiated.

À propos de nous

We are a family with 2 kids, Henrik 10 y.o. and Maria 8 years. They have a natural respect for others homes and property as our own home is fully decorated with pieces of antiques. The mother is self-employed as entrepreneur and father working as business director.

We speak fluent English and Swedish besides our mother tongue Finnish.

Destination

For the Xmas period in 2007 we are especially looking for an exchange in Cape Town territory in South Africa.
