Edwardian end-terraced house with 4 bedrooms, study, conservatory, lounge, large family room with well equipped kitchen, modern family bathroom, and small sunny garden with patio area to rear. Situated in the South Devon seaside town of Teignmouth with award winnig beaches and restaurants. The house is within 10 minutes walk of the seafront and town, and within 30 minutes car drive of the beautiful countryside of Dartmoor.
Wellen is an Edwardian house which is a mixture of old and new, retaining orignal fireplaces, stripped floors, sash windows etc. but still including al the appliances required for modern living.
It is a family home so is very child-friendly, with a good choice of children's videos, DVD's, toys, and poster adorned rooms.
If you are looking for an immaculate house this is probably not the house for you, but if you want a house with a family atmosphere that is comfortable and situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the country then this is the house for you!

We are both teachers working in Devon. We have 3 boys, one aged 11 who has just started at secondary school and twins aged 7 1/2. We enjoy a fantastic lifestyle in Teignmouth being involved in rowing, sailing, cycling, and walking. Teignmouth is well placed for all these sports and if you want to try rowing for the largest rowing club in UK you can just turn up for novice sessions. Sailing sessions can be set up by contacting the local clubs and bikes are available with the property dependant on the age of the rider. If you are a walker then the beautiful moors of Dartmoor are within 1/2 an hour by car, where you can walk and also enjoy the hospitality of the local pubs.
For children there are endless facilities and although we have lived here all our children's lives we still have not seen it all by any means! In Teignmouth there are safe well-patrolled beaches, an open air swimming pool, crazy golf, a well-equipped play area etc etc. There are loads of other attractions for children within easy reach by car. If you want a bit of culture then Devon is full of National Trust houses and gardens, as well as many English heritage sights! We reaaly believe Teignmouth to be one of the best plces to live in the country.
