Clean, neat and very quiet vacation mountain home open year round. Home has unique picturesque view of private valley and lake. 1700 sqft single story with large kitchen and living room w/breakfast area. There are 3 bedrooms; one bedroom with 1 King size bed, one bedroom with 1 Queen size bed and pullout single, and one bedroom with two bunk beds. Air conditioning not required for this mountain home at an elevation of 3600ft. Home located on semi-level lot. All appliances in working order-washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Two separate TV rooms with cable. Spring fed water source for wonderful, mineral rich, chemical free showers.

Quartier

Possible snow during winter months. Beautiful fall colors in mid-October. Star gazing is one of the natural attactions for the Little Switzerland area. Located 1.5 miles from downtown Little Switzerland and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Many scenic waterfalls and mountain view destinations. Permanent neighbors but not in view from the house. 20 minute drive to the world renowned Penland School of Crafts; 35 minute drive to Ski slopes (Ski Beach/Sugar Mountain); 45 minute drive to Blowing Rock-Grandfather Mountain area. Linville Falls is 30 minute drive and Mount Mitchell State Park (Highest elevation in the Eastern United States) is 45 minute drive on Parkway. Of course, new Super Walmart located 15 minutes away.

I am a North Carolina native and my wife is a Florida native. I have been in Industrial sales for over 20 years in the process control industry. My wife has been a Speech Therapist in the public school system for 16 years. Two children, 11 & 16, one in middle school the other in high school. We enjoy canoeing, hiking and swimming. Just the four of us for home exchanging.

Destination

Interested in most East Coast beach destinations but will consider all offers. Dates are flexible and does not have to be a simultaneous exchange. Will need to travel around the kids school schedule-Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break or summertime.
