Maison

The house is in a quiet part of town, but still just 10 minutes walk to the city center. It gets a lot of sun and there is planty of space around it. There's a sunny terace from where you can see the castle. We still haven't finished renovating the house, but there is one floor completely renovated in modern stile. There's jacuzzi, TV, internet, stereo, fireplace,.... Bycles are also available.

Quartier

There is a lot of things one can do around here. For nice afternoon walk one can chooice walking to the old town and the castle above. Or one can decide for an easy ride with bicycle among wineyards covering hills around town. There is also a wine route guiding you through hills from one wine celer to another teasting very good food and wine. Ptuj has the biggest artificial lake in Slovenija. They plan to build marina and island in the middle of the lake. Near the river Drava there is a thermal/spa park with lots of indoor and outdoor swimmingpools and the biggest slide in Slovenia. There is also a golf corse nearbye. And all this is just a few kilometers away from our home.
There is a half hour drive to Maribor, capital of this region with a lot of interesting sights to see and a lot of culture and sports events (shows, plays, concerts, skiing,...).
The most famos around here is the carneval in february every year. You can find more turist information on http://www.ptuj-tourism.si .

You can be very active or you can relax, it's up to you.

I'm a computer engineer and my girlfriend is a dentist. Our hobbies are: salsa, salsa, salsa, diving, photography, cooking, making coctails,... We like to travel a lot. This year we went to Cuba and we like to return there often. We are opened for exchange for extended weekends all the year, if it's close or there's cheap airline connection. But during the winter we like to go somwhere where's nice and warm for a week or two. During spring or summer we like to visit interesting countries and cities.
