Maison

Our home is comfy and functional. Bedroom, large living room and a kitchen, which is large enough for two people to cook even if it looks tiny... Bathroom was renovated last year, and there is sauna in the cellar. The balcony opens to a small park. The most comfortable sofa ever! Wireless internet and newspaper included. We also have 2 bikes and 2 pairs of cross country skis that can be used.

Quartier

15 minutes to the city center by metro, and the metro station is about 5 minutes walk. So not very central but the surroundings are superbeautiful, especially in the summer. The neighborhood is charming 50's area with cute colored houses. The sea is just 500 meters away, although it's 15 minutes walk to the nearest beach. There are lots of beautiful nature and wild life around - arboretum, bird watching towers, cherry tree garden... great nature paths for walking and jogging. And still it's very convenient to get to the town. The supermarket is located by the metro station, as well as some other stores.

À propos de nous

We Heli and Robin, both in our 30's and in creative professions (animator and illustrator). We are interested in music and visual arts. Cycling, camping, gardening and other nature-stuff is great too.

Heli is a Finn and Robin British, and even if we really do like living in Helsinki, we often get a graving for some other kind of culture for a chance. Therefore we are interested in flat swaps in other European towns. Could be a short break or up to one month during the summer.

Destination

We are looking for long summer holiday (around 3 weeks) somewhere nice... We are really open about the location. The dates are flexible, but July would be the best.
