Maison

Our home is a terraced house situated in the small town of Tranent! The property is compact but has a large kitchen with a double oven and hob the living area is also a good size with computer, flat screen TV, DVD. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor 2 with bunk beds and 1 with a double bed, a bright attic conversion with 2 velux windows accommodates two single beds with a partition wall for privacy.

To the rear of the property there is an area of grass and a small patio and use of a gas bbq.

The front of the property looks onto the local bowling green, this is a quiet peaceful area.

Quartier

Tranent is a very friendly town. We are a 5 min walk to the main street where you will find 2 supermarkets, petrol station and local shops. We are 2mins away from the local leisure centre which is open to the public, it has a swimming pool with sauna and a well equipped gym for the energetic.

We are a 5 min drive from the beach which stretches for miles between Port Seton, Cockenzie and Longniddry, further along the coast is the beautiful beach at Gullane and Dunbar where you can watch wind surfers. There are various golf courses nearby too including the famous Muirfield course where the British Open has been played in the past.

We are also only 20 mins to the centre of Edinburgh. This beautiful city is a must to visit. There is also a regular express bus service to the city and railway stations at Prestonpans and Wallyford the train will get you into town in 7 mins!!!!

À propos de nous

Myself and my partner have 5 children between us. My partner's children visit at weekends. The children's ages range from 16 to 5!! There is a small park safe park at the top of the road that all our children use regularly and a little shop that even the youngest enjoys going with her penny!!!

We also have a dog, a springer spaniel, she is 2. We all love taking her to the beach and enjoying many of the woodland walks/trails in East Lothian. We have spent many a summer at Gullane beach with it's little coves we spend a whole day there! The children play with the dingy and the coves are so safe for them to sail in.

There is lots to do and it is a very family orientated area. Although when my partner and I do have an evening to ourselves we do enjoy going out to the local bars, a couple of which do food aswell and children are welcome! There is something for everyone in East Lothian.

Destination

We would like a compact house similar to our own in a suburban area. We would like to be not more than 1 hours drive from Eurodisney.
