We have a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo, on beautiful Lake Dillon, Colorado USA with incredible mountain and lake views. 1200 sq feet. A king bed in each bedroom and two pull-out sleeper-sofas in the living room. Children are welcome. No Pets allowed. Wood burning fireplace. Full serviced kitchen with big dining table. Highspeed internet included. This is a casual, clean, quiet home perfect for relaxing after an active day on the slopes or hiking in the mountains. Local town of Dillon provides grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and many amenities. We are located in the town of Dillon which you can research at http://www.townofdillon.com. This quiet mountain town is in the middle of Summit County in the Rocky Mountains, which provides year-round activities and beauty. Winter activities include: cross country and downhill skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. 15 minutes to Loveland, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain resorts. 30 minutes to Vail resort and 45 minutes to Beaver Creek resort. Summer activities include: sailing, boating, hiking, biking, fishing. Dillon is 60 minutes to Denver and 90 minutes to the Denver International Airport. Quartier

The condo is located on Lake Dillon within walking distance to hiking trails and a sailing harbor. The harbor offers a great on-lake bar (Tiki bar) and boat rentals in the summer. Additionally, a water taxi can take you to other lake towns nearby in just minutes (Frisco). Public transportation picks you up at the condo and takes you to ski resorts if you don't want to drive, but we recommend a vehicle for convenience. Just a short drive to world class ski resorts and ski villages but our private area leaves out the tourist environment and lets you live like a local.

À propos de nous

We are a married couple, Gordon and Kristen. Gordon (43) is an wireless communications executive and Kristen (40) is a stay-at-home mom, just retired from an aviation career. We have a 7 month old daughter, Macy Faith, who is a funny, cheerful little girl. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see ours. We have traveled the world throughout our lives and would like to live in Europe for at least a year so that our daughter can learn a second language and can be exposed the world as we were. We are incredibly clean, responsible and trustworthy. We are looking for a long term exchange, however, any length of time for an exchange would be considered in order for us to situate ourselves in a community.

Destination

We are looking for a long term exchange with a country that would provide the opportunity to learn another language.
