Maison

Our decently sized 2 bedroom house is perfect for a wide range of people as it situated in a lovely neighbourhood, close to the city as well as the countryside.

We have a good sized living room, with a plasma TV which has a good range of English channel and also Russian satellite TV for those that understand Russian, a clean kitchen and dining room with good us of modern appliances. Upstairs, we have a clean, white tiled bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, small flat screen TV as well as a desk and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has a large, king sized bed with large mirror panelled wardrobes.

Our home has wireless internet for those that like to use their own laptops.

The house is kept clean, and it is very well cared for and looked after and we would treat your house the way we would treat ours.

We live in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. (We have 1 fish which doesn't require much care apart from it being fed once a day!)

Quartier

We live in south west London in a lovely place called Richmond. The location of our house is one of the main reasons for the purchase of it. It is a very pleasant, peaceful and clean location. It is approx a 2 minute walk to the River Thames which is beautiful and you can walk along the river banks towards neighbouring towns Kingston, Teddington, Twickenham and central Richmond.

It is very safe area during the day and night. Locally, you have access to the local newsagents, small shop for food and essentials, bakery and a small beauty salon. All of these are of a 3 minutes walk from the house.

It is a 10 minute car ride to Richmond town centre and also a 10 minute ride to neighbouring town Kingston. Both town centres have plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, bowling alleys, gym etc. There is also good use of public transport which can be handy if travelling to central London.

Central London is about 10 km away so about a 30 minute car or tube journey.

If you don't like the hustle and bustle of central London, you can explore the suburbs of London and south-west England and take day trips to the beach or wherever you please or travel up North to explore what Northern England or Scotland has to offer.

À propos de nous

We are a family of 3 who love to travel and experience different cultures and and learn about different traditions. I am a house-wife and like to look after our house and will take care of yours. My husband works as a courier in London. We also have a 20 year old daughter who is a university student.

We did a house exchange last to Florida which proved to be a success so we hope to continue doing house exchanges.

Destination

We are currently looking for somewhere to spend our summer 2012 travels in. Preferably somewhere hot and by the sea or lake.
