Maison

Our home is a newly remodeled shingle home designed for great family gatherings and to enjoy the outdoors. It is very open and comfortable! The rooms include: 2 master bedroom suites (one downstairs, one up), 2 bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom, an office with baby grand piano, a kids playroom/loft, large gourmet kitchen with dining nook and extra large cutting board island, laundry room, large living room with media center, dining room with wine service, wine room, and a 2 car garage. We have a great outdoor dining area with views over our vineyard.
Our home is on a half acre but you will think you had 5 as the back yard it very open and private.
The pool is a lap pool/sport pool (3-5 feet deep) and has a connected jacuzzi.
You will LOVE being in our home!

Quartier

The town of Alamo is very friendly and the homes are all well manicured. Deer roam the neighborhood and birds of prey frequent our skys. The weather is warm all summer with an occassional overcast day (which is always welcome). Mt. Diablo is behind our home and offers great biking, hiking, horse back riding, rock climbing, camping and exploring! The view from the top is fantastic. There are many gold courses in the area. Downtown Walnut Creek (12 minutes from our home) has world class restaraunts and shopping! We are very close to Berkely, San Francisco, San Jose and Marin (all 30-45 minutes). The Bay Area Transit trains (BART) are 12 minutes from our house.
From out home you can easily travel to: Yosemite, Napa, Monterey, Carmel, Lake Tahoe, the California Redwoods, Downtown SF, Chinatown...

We are a family of 4 traveling with our best friends (6 of us traveling so we would like 3 double beds or sleeping for 6). We are very friendly, clean and love to be outdoors. We plan on bringing our bikes and doing a lot of biking and sightseeing. We love water and all water sports! We promise to leave your house as clean as we found it!
Steve is 50, Kristen 41, Craig 52, Tracy 42, E'lan 8, and Steele 4. The children are very, very sweet and well behaved.
We will also make sure we help you out in staying at our home so you have a fantastic vacation!!!
