Maison

A large town house in the countryside. Location: a peaceful clearing in the forest, 1.5 hours drive from Prague.

If you want to explore central Europe, this could be the perfect base.
The house has WIFI. We require Internet access on any exchange.

Our home is situated in a very small hamlet, three kilometres from a village with basic shops, pubs and restaurants and twenty kilometres from a town with a full range of facilities.







Quartier

Breathtaking countryside surrounds the property, both forest and open fields. The country roads are lined with pear, apple and cherry trees, and there are an abundance of wild flowers such as chamomile, poppy and cornflowers. Visitors to the area often spend time picking mushrooms and wild fruit (blueberries, strawberries & raspberries). Other local wildlife includes deer, boar and rabbit. There are opportunities for hunting, fishing and horse riding near by.

Local sightseeing includes the Hussite fortress town Tábor, countless outdoor swimming facilities, plentiful walks and cycle routes (on well marked out routes),a narrow gage railway, Cervena Lhota - the red castle in the lake - hosting outdoor theatre & and international restaurant.

Or, just sit out on the front porch with a beer, listening to the nearby stream.

À propos de nous

We are an English couple who have relocated to South Bohemia because we found an amazing house. We would now like to explore Europe and the rest of the world as well.

We are in the process of installing a range of eco technology into our home including a heat pump, reed bed and natural swimming pond, however this is work in progress. We would be very interested to visit people who are already using different types of eco technology in their homes.

We are happy to look after pets for you, and would prefer to leave you with our two friendly, but low maintenance, cats.

Destination

We are happy to take part in a simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchange.

We would like to spend time near the sea in any country.

We would like to travel to many destinations, not only tourist areas but to see normal life in different countries as well.
