Maison

Our home is a warm and modern 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house with a one of a kind back yard complete with 40x20 ft saltwater pool facing a green space (park) with lots of trees.
Our kitchen is big and open to eating and family room so you're never left alone to cook. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, 2 staircases, and a fireplace in the master bedroom.
Our home is very comfortable and cozy and bright and we love living here.

Quartier

We live in a very private neighbourhood - our street dead ends in a cul-de-sac so we never hear any cars. All the homes in our area are a half an acre so the gardens are beautiful and all the homes are nice. You can ride bikes to many shops and to the beaches in about 15 minutes, or you can drive and be at the beach in 5 minutes. THere are lots of biking trails in our neighbourhood. Vancouver is aout 45 minutes by car or an hour by bus.

À propos de nous

I am a teacher librarian and my husband is an engineer. We have 2 children, who we would like to take to Europe for the summer 2008. They will be 14 and 12 next summer and my daughter has been in french immersion for a year and will get to practice her french. Although my husband was born in Canada his first language is German, so we can speak english, french and german (although I only speak english). We love sports and the outdoors and travelling.

Destination

We are thinking of getting away while the Olympics are here in Vancouver. We do not have our place at Whistler during the Olympics (it si shared owership) so it would just be our house during that period of time.
We are open to later dates to exchange as well.
