A three bedroom New England style lakeside lodge built in 2004. Its position is within the Watermark Club luxury holiday complex which has a four star rating. The property is equipped with modern kitchen (complete with dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge, freezer, oven/hob, microwave), two bathrooms and downstairs cloakroom. It has a lounge/dining room looking out directly onto Windrush Lake, master bedroom with ensuite, twin bedroom and a third bedroom with bunk beds. It is equipped with a TV with Freeview channels, DVD, Hi-fi, barbeque. The decking areas to the front and back of the property benefit from sun all day. Outdoor facilities include tennis, boules, croquet, cricket & football practise nets, giant outdoor draughts, children's playground, basket ball post, indoor games room (includes table tennis, poole, pinball machines). Fishing and golf are available at extra cost. A four star hotel within a 2 minute walk offers bars, restaurants and spa facilities. The property would be available for non-simulaneous exchange. Quartier

The Watermark Club is within The Cotswold Water Park, home to some 200 lakes offering a variety of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and fishing. The nearby Cotswolds Country Park offers a great day out at the lakeside beach for the whole family. The Cotswolds offer ample scope for sightseeing, walking, cycling and birdwatching. The area is steeped in history and Cotswolds towns and villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford, Bibury, Cheltenham, Tetbury and Cirencester are all just a short drive away. The ancient Roman city of Bath, the ports of Bristol and Gloucester, the university town of Oxford and Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon are all within a one hour drive. London is also easily accessible by car in one and a half hours.

The Watermark Club is located just a mile from the Saxon village of South Cerney which has three English country pubs (all serving excellent food). A four star hotel just 2 mins walk away, has an excellent bistro restaurant with a lake view as well as luxurious spa facilities.

À propos de nous

My name is Anita. I am in my early 50's and I work for a water treatment company as a project director. Although I now live on my own, I like to holiday with family members or close friends. We have spent many happy days at the lodge which is my holiday home. It caters very well for those of you interested in water sports, tennis or golf and of course the Cotswolds are known all over the world for their outstanding natural beauty. On those days when you feel like doing nothing much at all you will be able to relax on the decking overlooking the lake and watch the wildlife.

We are open to any exchanges in Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand or North America during 2011. Long weekends to some destinations would also be an option, including within the UK

We can do non-simulataneous exchanges.

Destination

We are keen travellers and would happily consider most destinations both in the UK and overseas. Short breaks in the UK and Europe would be of interest. The property is a holiday lodge and is therefore available for non-simulaneous exchange at any time of year.
