Maison

Large roomy home with landscaped back yard with lawn and exterior decks with BBQ. None of the three/four bedrooms are en suite. Two bathrooms and one WC. Laundry facilities situate in the garage.
Large open plan living/kitchen/dining area. A comfortable, lived-in family home (we raised 3 kids) in Marin County, just north of San Francisco, located in the town of San Anselmo. Peaceful back garden for relaxation.

Quartier

If you like to hike this house is for you. There are ridge walks you can do right from the house and the ridge offers views of San Francisco Bay and Mount Tamalpais. Also, in Marin County there is the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Muir Redwoods, Marin County Water District Lands, and Point Reyes National Park, all offering wonderful hiking and mountain biking opportunities. From the house you can walk to San Anselmo's quaint downtown area and a short (5 min) drive takes you to surrounding communities of Fairfax and San Rafael. San Franicisco is a 30 min drive across the Golden Gate Bridge.

À propos de nous

I am a Staff Attorney for the First District Court of Appeal located in the Civic Center square in San Francisco. My wife Susan is a special education teacher in Marin County. We are both age 54 and have three children, none of whom currently live at home. Our daughters Lyndsay (23) and Sally (21) are recent college graduates, and our son Liam (18) is about to begin his studies at Edinburgh University in Scotland.

We want to visit our son Liam in Edinburgh, Scotland, so prefer Edinburgh or a town/city nearby.
