Maison

A very bright architect designed house (maison d'architecte), lots of light, quiet surroundings, and very peaceful.

The house is at typical Danish house from the mid 80’ies. But very modern design. We also like modern furniture.

An open kitchen - living room, 2 bedrooms, one "office/tv-room", and one music room.

Wi-fi available (threadless Internet), dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. TV, dvd, video player. Music room with electronic drums, electric guitar, and a keyboard.

We have bikes for adults and several for children. Also a baby/todler seat for one of the bikes.

If todlers in your party, we can probably also provide other baby/todler things you might need.

Quartier

The house is one out of 14 in circle, next to a forest. A very charming and quiet place.

Right next to a forest in an area with very little traffic - almost none. Great place for family with children: a playground right outside with swings, also a slide, sand box, play house, a zip wire, and a big trampoline. Also a place for a bonfire, a pingpong table in the common house, and a small field for playing soccer i.e. Also things to do for a teenager...

Also a BMX- track 500 m from here.

It’s situated in a small neighbourhood with a small supermarked, pizza-to-go, and a few other shops. 5-10 minutes from the centre of Holstebro with shops, pedestian streets, cinema, theatre, (Holstebro is also the home of the famous Odin Theatre), museums, art galleries, restaurants, burger bars, shopping malls, bowling alley,etc.

Legoland only an hour away.

One golf course here in Holstebro by the river, (you must visit the restaurant there, also even if not playing golf), and three others near by – one in a forrest, one by the fjord, and one by the North Sea.

Our neighbours extremely kind people who will welcome you. and do their best to help you in any way you might need.

500 meters from the lake, 20 minutes from the fjord and 30 minutes from the North Sea, the West coast of Denmark. A big stream is also running through Holstebro.

A fishing ”put and take” 3 km from here. Extremely good arear for fishing/angeling. http://www.munkbro-fiskesoe.dk/

À propos de nous

A family of four. Ib - 43 and Birgit - 49, and our two sons (from Korea) Thomas - 6, and Tobias - 8.

Ib is "On-line marketing manager" in a web agency, Birgit is a school teacher at the "Royal Danish Ballet School" (The Royal Ballet School in Copenhagen has a branch here in Holstebro, and the children go to school also). The school also has a moderne dance department, in all 120 pupils from 6 - 16 years old. Birgit teaches Danish and English at the moment, also use to be a French and Historian teacher.

The boys are "real" boys, love Star Wars, Knights, all kind of toy weapons, play music, sing.

We like to go and see places, relax, Birgit enjoys reading, we like living "the life of the locals", often visiting places also of interest for children.
