Maison

This house is 20 minutes from downtown, the Las Vegas strip, and close to Nellis Air Force Base. Lush large grass front yard with mature trees, park like environment. The back yard has a built in pool and jacuzzi also a big BBQ grill. Although we dont have a corral with alittle effort you could bring horses. This house sits on 3/4 of an acre and the back is completely fenced.

The pool and jacuzzi are perfect for kids to relax and enjoy the out of doors in the summer and the jacuzzi is perfect in the winter.

The inside is comfortable with a great room layout. We have two furnished bedrooms and a third bedroom with a very comfortable queen air bed if needed.

Las Vegas is known for its night life, however there are quite afew outdoor destinations close at hand. Lake Mead, Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Death Valley, and Zion National Park are just afew.

Our neighbourhood features no side walks or street lights, and bridle trail riding. Because all the lots are 3/4 acre, it is nice and quiet. Country in the city atmosphere. There is a community center within walking distance which you can join daily or monthly with a nice econimical workout. There are several convience stores within walking distance.

My husband an I are about 50. We have lived in this home since 1989. We have raised two children here and one is still in high school. My husband works for the local water authority and I work for the county building and safety department. We are a quiet sort and do not do much entertaining. However we enjoy gormet cooking as a hobby.

I am a glass fusing artist and my husbands hobby is woodworking. Portions of our home are dedicated to these persuits however, they will not interfere with your stay.

Having lived in Las Vegas for the last 30 years we are looking for a nice way to travel and stay in other areas while enjoying time with out daughter in a homey environment.

We welcome a family with children and pets, we want to take our shitzu with us and hope our guests will befreind our four cats, fish, and frog tank while visiting.

Destination

We are looking for a nice summer getaway. The dates are flexible, but we would like it to be about the middle of summer break. We are considering all areas, but would like something east coast, north west coastal area, England, Greece, Italy, New York area, just make us an offer.
