Maison

A double storey beachhouse, available all year, (with solar heated pool) separated into 2 apartments. Upper storey has masterbedroom, spa/bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, lounge and dining areas and balcony for 'al fresco' meals.
Downstairs has 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining, a sun room at the front, a laundry and a bathroom with separate toilet.
Another large room with sep entry has 6 single beds.
The house is available as a whole or either one apartment. (It is our second home so a non simultaneous exchange is possible.)

Both open plan living with stunning views of coastline.
Barbecue for outdoor cooking.
Airconditioned upstairs and wood fire downstairs.

Shaded salt water swimming pool in the back garden with pool lounges for sunbaking and outdoor setting for dining.
Car available.

Quartier

Located 45 minutes by car south of Adelaide, 15 minutes from renowned McLaren Vale wine region of South Australia, with more than 60 wineries with cellar door sales. Outstanding regional and organic produce farms in the area with stalls at the Wilunga Farmers' Market every Saturday. Many quality restaurants showcasing local produce and offering Asian as well as Mediterranean cuisine.
A good surfing beach is 2 minutes away.
Also 45 minutes to departure port for Kangaroo Island, a must see location for international visitors. Seaside resort town of Victor Harbor 30 minutes away, known for whale watching (seasonal) and holiday beach destination.
Secluded beach with marine reef directly in front. Mediterranean climate.
Short walk to shops for basic needs, supermarket a 3 minute drive away.

À propos de nous

We are a married couple with 2 sons, aged 18 and 21. A medical professional and a retired social worker. We now often travel without our sons.
We are both 50, non smokers, who have enjoyed numerous Australian and overseas holidays and are attracted to the concept of home swapping for a more friendly and relaxed way of getting to know a place. We are house proud ourselves and will look after the home we stay in and look forward to our first exchange in Australia or overseas.
We both enjoy the outdoor sports, interested in other cultures and cuisines especially, and meeting people. I have spent some time learning Italian and speak it to a limited degree.

Destination

Non simultaneous exchanges no problem, and we would be delighted to meet and show visitors around the region. We live in Adelaide, a city of 1 million, located 45 minutes by car north of the holiday home available for exchange.
While our first two offers are specific, afterwards our dates as well as countries are open.
