Our fully-furnished home is located on the water's edge of Baffin Bay, east of Riviera, Texas, and is surrounded by the Kenedy and King Ranches. You'll have exclusive, private use of the entire home which has its own lighted pier. Fishing is great year-round in our mild South Texas climate. Baffin Bay has redfish, flounder, drum, and croaker, but is famous for its TROPHY SPECKLED TROUT! Nearly all species of North American birds migrate through South Texas.
Just 20 minutes north is historic Kingsville. Visit the restored downtown area, King Ranch, L. E. Ramey golf course, 2 museums, NAS Kingsville, and Texas A & M University Kingville, which has a tremendous library. Corpus Christi and Padre Island are 1 hour north, and Brownsville and Mexico are 2 hours south.

Bay-front home in rural South Texas brush country. Plentiful wildlife under big skies. Lighted pier out front door offers round-the-clock fishing and star gazing. Restaurants nearby.
Near boat launch, charter service, cable tv, wet bar, private pool at the Ranch House. Excellent flat-land bicycling. Golf, dining, shopping, museums and county airport in Kingsville. Bring your mobile phone because there are no phones in the house.

Jan attends to the daily operations of Wild Horse Lodges, and Calvin is Production Foreman for Apache Oil and Gas Exploration and upland game bird hunting guide. More often than not, there are just the two of us traveling.
