Very modern/contemporary luxury downtown Toronto 2 bedroom house

Amérique du Nord / Canada / Ontario / Toronto

Maison

Charming downtown Little Italy home, very modern and luxurious new finishings, this house is my pride and joy and I renovated it myself 3 years ago. It looks and feels like a high end luxury boutique hotel, it is the second and third floor of a house with a gorgeous back patio surrounded by trees. It is minutes to everything downtown.

Potential exchange also includes access to my BMW and the ability to enjoy high end this international and cosmopolitan city in the heart of cultural, artistic, and shopping district (College St. West and Queen St. west)

Quartier

My house is located between Queen St. West and Little Italy...it doesn't get much better then that in Toronto!

Queen Street West neighborhood:

Toronto's totally hip neighborhood, much like New York's Soho. A great place to hang out, people watch or shop. Starting just west of University in the downtown core its home to City TV and Much Music as well as funky boutiques showcasing the latest in urban design and fashion. There are many galleries showing contemporary Art as well as a wealth of trendy bars cafes and bistros.

Just south is the club zone and theatre district the heart of Toronto's nightlife including everything from brew pubs and dance clubs to hit Broadway shows.

Just west is Chinatown and Kennsington Market, two other lively communities to explore.

Little Italy Neigh:

Ciao Italia!--or should I say, ciao, Italies! Most major North American cities only have one "little Italy", Toronto has two in the downtown alone, and one mundo Italiano in Woodbridge, in the northwest.

The most well-known Little Italy is the oldest, on College, sandwiched between the end of the main Latin section at Bathurst and the beginning of Portuguese restaurant row, just past Montrose. Eat in one of the trattorias that Sophia Loren dined in during her last visit, where you can indulge in creamy lobster risotto, parma and other Italian delicacies.

Want to skip right to desert? then you must, must go to The place on College, The Sicilian Cafe. Unpretentious and oh-so affordable, it is open seven days a week, all year long, this cafe serves up the best in Italian coffees, gelatos, homemade ice-creams (must-haves are the tiramisu and the hazelnut), waffles and grappa (a thirst-quenching lemon and sugar, icy beverage needed in the summer).

À propos de nous

I am an early thirties professional guy who loves the urban life and living in large downtown cosmopolitan city cores. I used to work in finance and have lived in downtown Toronto, New York, London, and Boston. I am Canadian and love my city and love to explore other socially and culturally vibrant places in my travels.
