Maison

We are offering an elegant, one bedroom condo in a lakeside resort on Shawnigan Lake in British Columbia. Our home features one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, one bathroom, a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, a living room with pull-out couch and a dining area. There is also a large deck that is accessed from both the living room and the bedroom. Soft lighting and a Bose sound system allow for a lovely ambiance and the clean, simple furnishings make it easy to maintain and allow you to leave the condo to enjoy the lakefront kayaking, canoeing and mountain climbing. There is wireless internet and HD TV with digital cable and PVR.

Quartier

Shawnigan Lake is stocked with trout and bass so there is always great fishing from the resort's private marina. The shared indoor pool is heated and there is also a sauna. The resort facilities also include a tennis court and a 4 hole par 3 golf course. The village of Shawnigan Lake is a 40-minute drive north from Victoria and a 1-hour drive south from Nanaimo.

À propos de nous

We are newly retired educators who have family in Tucson and we wish to spend at least three months being close to them. We are avid sports followers so our sofa and HD TV allow for very comfortable Sundays watching NFL, NHL, tennis and golf. Our cleaning person will continue to come four hours a week so you are free to explore the beauty of the region and of the world famous wilderness of Vancouver Island.

Destination

We are looking for an exchange to Tucson, Arizona. Our dates are flexible, but we would like to be there over Christmas.
