This 4 bedroom house is situated overlooking a lake underneath a mountain range in County Donegal, Ireland. It is extremely peaceful, and perfect for long lazy walks in the countryside, fishing, or exploring the greeen hills. It is a 30 year-old bungalow that has been in the same family for two generations, and has recently been given a refurbishment. It has four spacious bedrooms, a generous garden and is very private. It is extremely clean and tidy. It is only 6 miles from the nearest town and has all the advantages of living in the countryside. My husband and I live here alone, and would like to travel to southern California , preferably San Diego area, but are open to offers from other areas in California.

The house is located in a very peaceful, friendly neighbourhood. It is the old Ireland that has existed for years, but has perhaps been forgotten in the major cities. 6 miles from the local town, and centrally located in beautiful County Donegal, it is ideal as a base for your exploration, and yet is only a 3 hour drive from the capital city Dublin. It is only an hour away from City of Derry airport which has short flights to London, and other cities within the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

I am a recent Doctoral graduate and my husband is an IT professional. We are both in our early thirties. We are interested in all facets of life, from hill walking to spectator sports, from music to food and drink, and from theatre to travel. We are looking for somewhere in California to base ourselves for between 4 and 8 weeks from the middle of August, 2007.

Our dates are flexible within these months. We would ideally like to go to San Diego
